Wednesday left little to wonder about as metro Detroit got slammed with a round of winter weather. Plows began their work laying salt around noon Wednesday. By 2 p.m. plow trucks were beginning their routes as the snow continued to fall. Making matters worse, the light snowfall from Christmas Eve which had begun to melt, refroze making many roads icy.
