Gerry Adams' brother found guilty of raping daughter

BELFAST (Reuters) - A brother of prominent Northern Irish politician Gerry Adams was found guilty on Tuesday of raping his daughter when she was a child. Liam Adams, 58, was convicted at Belfast Crown Court of 10 charges of rape and sexual abuse dating back more than 30 years against his eldest child Aine who waived her right to anonymity. He had denied all charges. Motorcyclist arrested in gang beating after high-speed New York chase

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New Jersey man was arrested on Tuesday and charged for his role in a high-speed chase along a Manhattan highway that ended when a motorcycle gang dragged a New York man from his vehicle and beat him while his wife and baby looked on, police said. Christopher Cruz, 28, of Passaic, New Jersey, was charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, said Sergeant Lee Jones of the New York City Police Department.
