NHL-Calgary's Giordano out for up to two months Tuesday, Oct 29, 2013 07:43 PM PDT Oct 29 (Reuters) - Calgary Flames captain Mark Giordano is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with a broken ankle, the NHL team said on Tuesday. Defenseman Giordano suffered the injury on Oct. 21 against the Los Angeles Kings and has already missed three games. "It's brutal," Giordano told reporters. "You don't want to miss any time but you're hoping it's something not as significant as that time frame. But there's nothing I can do."
