In a story about the monument closure, Fox News host Anna Kooiman fell pray to a false report from a parody site, which claimed that President Obama had offered to keep the International Museum of Muslim Cultures open with cash from his own pocket.

Government shutdown leaves some tourists stranded near Yellowstone

About 15 tourists are staying in Cooke City, one of several tiny gateway towns leading into Yellowstone National Park. Hopefully they are enjoying their visit. That's because thanks to the ongoing federal government shutdown, the tourists are literally trapped inside Cooke City.
