BUENOS AIRES, April 24 (Reuters) - Argentine champions Velez Sarsfield drew first blood with a 1-0 away win over Newell's Old Boys in the opening clash of the Libertadores Cup last 16 on Wednesday. Velez took the lead in the first leg of the all-Argentine tie at Newell's Marcelo Bielsa ground in Rosario with a fine goal from 18-year-old winger Agustin Allione in the 63rd minute.
