Father arrested after daughters found dead in Wis.

Associated Press -  A man suspected of killing his three young daughters unexpectedly contacted their mother Tuesday, asking to stop by for a visit. He later called her to say he had hurt the girls, police said Wednesday, and, soon after, authorities found their bodies in the River Falls home.

Reuters - MIAMI (Reuters) - A former executive at Haiti's state-owned telecommunications company has been sentenced to a year in prison for accepting bribes from two U.S. companies awarded lucrative long-distance phone contracts in the poor Caribbean country. Patrick Joseph, the former director general of Haiti Teleco, pleaded guilty to bribery charges in February. Guilty Plea in Pentagon-Targeted Toy Airplane Plot

The Atlantic Wire -  It's not clear whether federal prosecutors ever took seriously a terrorism plot, foiled last year, to blow up the Pentagon using model planes, but on Tuesday they were poised to get a serious conviction out of it as the defendant, Rezwan Ferdaus, agreed to plead guilty. In a plea bargain announced Tuesday, Ferdaus' lawyers agreed to have their client plead guilty to two of the six charges against him, and both sides would seek 17 years in prison for the Muslim-American citizen with a degree in physics from Northeastern University.
