The boy is stabbed multiple times in an apartment in L.A.'s Westlake neighborhood. His stepfather, who also sustained stab wounds, is held as a 'person of interest.' Campers, residents flee fire near Santa Barbara

Thousands of residents and hundreds of campers flee the blaze, which has burned about 1,000 acres and dusted Santa Barbara with ashes. More than 1,000 campers and up to 4,000 residents fled the mountains of Santa Barbara County as a fast-moving wildfire swept through part of Los Padres National Forest and surrounding areas, officials said.
