May 27 (Reuters) - The Chicago Blackhawks overtook Detroit with a third period blitz to score a 4-3 win over the Red Wings on Monday and force a Game Seven decider in their Western Conference semi-final series. The Blackhawks, who took the Presidents' Trophy for scoring the most points in the regular season, have avoided elimination in two straight games after falling behind 3-1 in the best-of-seven series. Japanese rider killed in Isle of Man qualifying

(Reuters) - Japanese rider Yoshinari Matsushita died in an accident during a qualifying session on Monday for the Isle of Man TT, organizers said. He is the 21st rider to die at the circuit since 2000. "Japanese rider Yoshinari Matsushita, 43, was killed during the qualifying session at the 2013 Isle of Man TT Races in an incident at Ballacrye in the north of the island," a statement on the official race website (www.iomtt.com) said. The 43-year-old Tyco Suzuki rider, who first competed in the event in 2009, had been entered in the race earlier in the day. ...

Rutgers stands behind new athletic director after report of abuse

The athletic director, Julie Hermann, had been hired earlier this month after her predecessor resigned under pressure for not firing Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice for abusive behavior toward his players. ...
