I found your article (LSJ, Jan. 20) regarding the refund of the 3 percent taken from state employees for health care benefits to be quite interesting. The tone of the article made it sound as if the employees were receiving a windfall due to the benevolence of 'King Richard.' They, in turn, are apparently supposed to spend the money to stimulate the local economy. |
