A BEITBRIDGE man committed suicide at his in-laws’ homestead, apparently protesting his estranged wife’s refusal to sleep with him. Philemon Verera, 30, had travelled to Mwenezi to try and persuade his wife to return home but collapsed and died after downing a bottle cotton pesticide.
