Temperatures were forecast to hit 18 degrees Celsius (64 degrees Fahrenheit) in parts of England, making it "exceptionally mild" for early March, the national weather service said. "Across much of England and Wales, it will be a really nice day with plenty of sunshine," said Met Office meteorologist Calum MacColl.
