Tue,28 Aug 2012 07:26 PM PDT
Associated Press -

In this Aug. 17, 2012 photo, Janet Lumbra looks over the remains of her home in East Granville, Vt. For some, there will be block parties and parades. For others, a moment of silence. Tue,28 Aug 2012 01:12 PM PDT

In this combo made from file photos, President Barack Obama, left, speaks at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, on April 25, 2012, left, and Republican presidential candidate, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney speaks during a campaign stop in Wilmington, Del. on April 10, 2012. After all their liberal vs. conservative differences are spoken, Obama and Romney sound a lot alike when they are being described by the other guy or his campaign. That leaves voters the challenge of having to sort out what's real and what's been stretched out of proportion. (AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster, Evan Vucci, File)Ben Franklin got it right when he wrote, 'nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.'
