Every now and then I get a craving for a homemade quiche, which is one of the reasons I keep pre-made pie crusts in my freezer. When you consider all the time it takes to make a pie pastry from scratch, chill it, fill it and bake it for an hour, I think that hardly qualifies it for a fast meal. So, I rely on cheating a bit to save time. |
