WHITEHALL, MI â€" Gary Conrad, a loyal union boss and leader of Democrats in Muskegon County, has died at age 78. His body was found at his home in Whitehall the morning of Feb. 28, said his longtime friend John DeWolff, a Montague resident. Conrad appears to have died in his sleep.
