Departing HTC execs arrested for stealing trade secrets  Monday, Sep 02, 2013 08:25 AM PDT Five departing HTC employees including top members of the company's design team were arrested this past weekend on accusations that the group stole trade secrets. According to China Times, five people including vice president of product design Thomas Chien, research and development director Wu Chien Hung and senior design team manager Justin Huang were taken into custody and interrogated this past weekend after HTC chairwoman Cher Wang filed a complaint with authorities in Taiwan. The group, which was leaving the company to start its own mobile design firm, is accused of downloading internal files pertaining to unreleased HTC software set to be unveiled on the upcoming HTC One Max and then sharing them with people outside the company. Longest-serving soap actor pleads not guilty to sex charges  Monday, Sep 02, 2013 05:34 AM PDT LONDON (Reuters) - William Roache, the world's longest serving soap actor according to Guinness World Records, pleaded not guilty on Monday to seven sex offences against five girls, a court spokeswoman said. Roache, 81, who plays Ken Barlow in "Coronation Street", pleaded not guilty to two counts of raping a 15-year-old girl in 1967 and five counts of indecent assault involving four girls aged 11 to 16 in Manchester in the 1960s. Former Cypriot minister to be extradited to Greece in graft inquiry  Monday, Sep 02, 2013 05:29 AM PDT NICOSIA (Reuters) - A court in Cyprus ordered the extradition of a former Cypriot interior minister to Greece on Monday for questioning related to corruption charges against a once-powerful Greek politician who is now in jail. Dinos Michaelides would be the first Cypriot government or former government official to be extradited to Greece.
