IFC wins bid for "Cheerful Weather for the Wedding"

Reuters - LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - IFC Films has taken U.S. rights to Donald Rice's romantic comedy "Cheerful Weather for the Wedding." The film is an adaptation of the British author Julia Strachey's novella of the same name, which was published in 1932 by the Hogarth Press. The book was recently re-released by Persephone Books. Elizabeth McGovern, Felicity Jones, Luke Treadaway, Mackenzie Crook and Zoe Tapper star in the rom-com set in England, which had its world premiere at Tribeca earlier this year. National Journal - The National Weather Service has canceled a tropical storm warning for coastal portions of the Florida panhandle.The relieved area includes Tampa, the site of the Republican National Convention.
