The film is an adaptation of the British author Julia Strachey's novella of the same name, which was published in 1932 by the Hogarth Press. The book was recently re-released by Persephone Books. Elizabeth McGovern, Felicity Jones, Luke Treadaway, Mackenzie Crook and Zoe Tapper star in the rom-com set in England, which had its world premiere at Tribeca earlier this year.
