Liverpool fine Suarez for bite but won't sack him  Monday, Apr 22, 2013 05:54 AM PDT (Reuters) - Liverpool have fined Uruguay striker Luis Suarez an undisclosed amount for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic at the weekend but will not sack him, the Premier League club said on Monday. Suarez, the league's top scorer with 23 goals, has been widely condemned for his behavior in Sunday's 2-2 draw and is expected to get a lengthy ban from the Football Association but Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre said the club would stand by him.
