Reuters - MELBOURNE, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Holder Stuart Applebywithdrew from his Australian Masters title defence on Fridaybefore the second round due to a back injury he carried into thetournament. The 40-year-old Australian, a nine-time winner on the U.S.PGA Tour, played through the pain to card a one-under 70 inThursday's opening round at Melbourne's Victoria Golf Club butwithdrew after consulting his coach and physiotherapist. Reuters -  HARRISBURG, Pa (Reuters) - A key witness who said that he saw former assistant Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky raping a 10-year-old boy in 2002 may testify in court on Friday, a legal source said. Mike McQueary, a graduate assistant in the university's football program in 2002, is expected to testify at a court hearing on charges against former Penn State athletic director Tim Curley and finance official Gary Schultz. Curley and Schultz were charged last month with perjury before a grand jury for testimony they gave about their knowledge of the alleged abuse. ...
